Why do "some" people think it's the government's job to take care of them?

No idea...I feel for those people that rely on the goverment because its obvious the only thing they do well is tax and spend. Some would argue they cant do that....This career politician 2 party system has to go...Its only benefitting the elected officials and those with enough money to buy their vote.
