Way off topic...New windows

We just had Milgard windows installed last month. Fiberglass with wood interior. Quite pleased with them and they've held their own in the crazy San Luis Valley weather. Big difference over the wood cased windows they replaced.

You've been given a lot of good advice here. As a contractor myself, I would just like to agree wholeheartedly with being careful about low bidders.

It is expensive to run a legitimate business. There are a few guys who are just out there quoting high labor but as a general rule a difference in quotes is likely something you are or aren't getting. And remember, if they aren't busy there might be a reason why!
