Lol....

I make pack covers in regular Multicam and Alpine. I can also make reversible pack covers. So if you want Blaze Orange on one side and Multicam on the other or Alpine/Multicam . They come with attached stuff sacks and tie out loops so you can use a bungee or 550 cord to secure the pack cover on your pack when your busting through thick brush. It's never fun to backtrack 1/2 mile to find your pack cover.

Aron recommended the Sea to Summit Ultra Sil Pack Cover in green for my DT1 - http://www.seatosummit.com/products/display/4
Works fine.

If I'm in a truly monsoonal region like NW AZ where rain floods roads in seconds, I will go with the STS poncho tarp and leave my rain pants behind.

I didn't find that when I was looking for that kind of product. I ended up making a Parcho: http://www.questoutfitters.com/10JuneParChoSewRedFileSz (1).pdf
Because I was sick of having the cheap raingear that I could afford leak at my pack's shoulder straps. Just tried it out for the first time last week in a good heavy rain in the Pecos. It performed pretty darn well. I used rain pants with it and it did a great job of protecting my pack and myself from water. 1.1 silnylon isn't going to be busting through any brush, but for the amount that it rains where I hunt, it's just something I can use to keep myself dry during the afternoon showers, if there are any.

I made something similar only it's made out of 1.5 oz Multicam material and can handle knocking down some brush. It can be used as a poncho, a standard 5'x9' tarp, and is also capable of being pitched on the ground with a single tent pole as a low profile OP or hunting blind. It's extremely versatile, weighs about 15 ozs, and packs down to a 5"x10" stuff sack. But I still take my rain pants. Wearing cotton jeans like this guy through wet brush and grass would make for a long, miserable day.
