Probably wouldn't work well for geese and swans....I have seen worse..I prefer the entire bird.

I like the swan mounts done like this better than the ducks. They carry it down to where the breast starts, giving it more of a “base.” And with swans being so big it actually makes a manageable trophy.

If they were mounted correctly there would have been no fat/oil to seep through the feathers.

You go by the guy’s work and reputation.

My mounts were all completed prior to 1996. Long time ago. I wont do anymore mounts. Understand that deer mounts are now tanned skins.
