all you guys using steripen must have large bodies of water that arent dirty ?

Why do you say that? I use mine drinking out of creeks, cliff seeps, rivers, ponds, even drank out of a nasty stagnant stock pond once (needed Gatorade powder to mask the taste) and all turn out just fine for me.

Sawyer mini and MSR hyperflow have worked well for me. I have owned 3 Katadyn pump filters and all have failed.
