wateproof gaiter of choice?

I have OR gators, crocs I think, and they are great. I really just wear them late season in deep snow. They seem a little much to me for early season. I'm looking for a lighter weight pair for early archery season. Sounds like the original OR Flex Tex was what I'm looking for but they changed the design. Do the First Lite Traverse gaiters still have sizing issues? I recall people saying they could not get them over their boots. The REI ones look interesting but sounds like they might not be very durable. I'll probably get the KUIU scree but I was trying not to spend $50 on them.
