Watcha reading/listening to?

I'm currently on a Stephen Ambrose kick. Did Undaunted Courage in November, Band of Brothers in December, and just finishing up D-Day. All excellent.
I think this is the first book I have read by him. I see why he is highly thought of!

I enjoyed Rise to Rebellion by Jeff Shaara. Too bad books like this weren't the required text for high school American history class.

It is followed by The Glorious Cause, also good.
Thanks for the suggestions just ordered Rise to Rebellion on Amazon

Jack Carr: James Reece series is really good.
C.J. Box: Joe Pickett series is one of my favorites.
Stephen Hunter: Bob Lee Swagger series is good.

I am currently listening to the Jeff Carson: David Wolfe series, they are okay. I like the stories, I just wish they were a little longer and prefer some of the above mentioned guys writing styles a bit better.

I'm reading The Road to Character by David Brooks.
So far, so good. It's very introspective. I appreciate books that expand my horizons and this one has delivered in that arena. Recommended.
