Well the regs are out and they make for some interesting reading. Quality tags are down in a lot of units.

No surprise the tag numbers are down. The wildlife in this state is in sad shape. Our wolf loving governor and all the bunny huggers that are on the board makes it kinda hard to get anything meaningful done.

Thanks for the heads up!

The tags will keep getting cut if Jay keeps protecting the the wolves...some of these tags won't be worth drawing soon.

I love this state but damn do we need new management. The whole "State of Liberty" proposal is something I think a lot of us could get behind. The political and economic climate is almost polar between both sides of the Cascades.

Even the whitetails are being wiped out which is hard to believe. Id venture to guess the northern units in the mountains have lost 60-80% of the whitetail deer population. Really sad to see what has happened in WA over the last 5 years its plummeted across the board for every specie.

Years of Unstoppable tribal, off Rez poaching on state public & national forest lands & tribal craigslist elk meat sales AND add predator increase of bears, cougars.
along with wolves moving in from Idaho, Canada.
Bad 3 years winter conditions in a row....
Elk calf survival numbers surpassing all time lows

of course game numbers are down.
