hello guys

I drew my first bull tag here in Washington state and have been chomping at the bit to get out and check my cameras . well last weekend I finally got out after 3 weeks of letting them sit ! and I had 2 bulls and about 15-20 cows and a few deer . here is the bull I had ! my question is will he take off come season or will he stay and hang out because the cows I have in the area ?

this is my first time ever hunting a bull bull elk 1.jpgbull elk 2.jpg

damn your two favorite elk units are nile and bumping ??!! that's what im talking about ! you like that steep and deep stuff . yea I can say im a fan of it as well . I think its pretty easy to get away from people in those units if you want to. its some nasty insanely beautiful country for sure . I wish I had a little more experience hunting elk but im doing my best to be prepared for it. jay scotts podcasts are on repeat haha

In my experience you really don't have to get to far away from people to get into elk. Ive called in bulls a hundred yards off hwy 410. You'll have a great hunt

The bull will be around if the cows are still in the same spot come September. Follow the cows.
