Washington coastal blacktail

Thanks everyone can't wait for another October, like some have mentioned I'm doing multi season this year so I can hunt September muleys, but I will be picky because I want to be in the woods for October rut. I was covered up in deer one was grunting, had another one rubbing a tree, and a third one right below my tree stand that I could only smell. I knew that as soon as I could see something was going to die, and as soon as it was light a doe came threw and she was tripping I guess from all the bucks chasing her. A couple minutes later the buck I shot came in smelling her trail , it was a great hunt I highly advise hunting the rut. Problem I have had with blacktail is as soon as they lose velvet I don't see them until the rut and that's usually around the week before Archery season around here😩 No more dealing with that bs hunt the rut 😁 Cheers
