Washing Sitka Gear

How should I wash my Sitka Stratus Jacket. The 1st time I washed it on warm with non scent Soap and then air dried it. Should I be doing something different

I hand wash it with cold water and let it air dry. But a lot of people wash them according to Gore Tex.

I used Nik Wax Tech Wash on mine. I seem to remember seeing on the tags attached to the Sitka clothing that they recommended Tech Wash.
