First year I've needed to wash my raingear

StoneGlacier M5 jacket
Kuiu Chugach TR pants

I bought the NIkWax Tech wash. (Green cap: cleans revilitzes and restores repellency)

Thoughts on putting the pieces in the dryer vs air drying them after the wash?

Also, do you "need," to also use the NikWax Softshell proof (Purple Cap: adds water repellency) or does the Tech Wash "restore" it enough.

I agree on the dryer. It also helps “tighten” the membrane back up. I always use a dryer

Yeah, I remember hearing from a lady who works at Nikwax that putting DWR clothing in the dryer helps redistribute the coating. Or something along those lines.
