Warne mounts on Kimber 84m

I have a Kimber 84m on the way, and I’m going with Warne Maxima 2 piece bases. I want my scope height to be as low as possible. Warne’s website says the “Low” steel rings accommodate up to a 36mm objective (but that’s not rifle specific.) The “Medium” rings are said to accommodate up to a 40mm objective. I would really like to have the low rings and a 40mm objective scope if possible. (VX-3HD 3.5-10X40.) Does anyone run this particular setup or have experience with something similar? I will go with the 2.5-8X36 if I have to in order to stay with the low rings. I do not want to raise the scope height more than necessary.

Ended up going with a Trijicon thanks to the scope evaluation threads here
