So I bought a new mark V weathermark on a whim because it was too good of a deal to pass up. I’ve searched around on here, but wanted some
More information. The warne mountain tech rings and rail seems popular but I’m also considering the Murphy rail. This gun will get used hard and needs to hold zero. So I guess my question is, what’s the beefiest setup for a weatherby? Is the Murphy rail worth more than the Warne? I can get a steep discount on the Warne so there’s about a $100 dollar difference in price. I’m also open to other options. I love the look of the near mount but the price is more than I’d like to spend.

I’ve been using the Nightforce rail bonded to my mark v roughly 400-450 rounds of 340 weatherby no zero shift since installed.

I have both on my tikka’s. Both are super solid. The MP is taller. The Warne is lower profile. Can’t go wrong with either.

I also just saw that weatherby sells the peak 44 Jrail. How’s that one compare? I like the extra clearance it provides on the backend
