Warm windproof jacket

I'm also looking for fleece lined windproof jacket.

As far as insulated jackets for stand hunting, I'd recommend the Fanatic series.

Temperature matters. What is warm for Texas very likely will not be warm for Alaska. You may get more traction if you give more info.

Walking, sitting, flat ground or climbing? Temp? Depending on how I am hunting I could be wearing my Cabelas Whitetail 050, Kryptek Vellus Jacket, Cabelas Berber Fleece, Or my Cabelas Wooltimate Hooded Pullover. Find one with pitzips, it helps regulate the temp also.

Despite little in the way of updated application/environment details; Kuiu Peloton 240 hoody was used by both myself and guide. Cuts wind pretty well for a grid fleece without a laminate backer. Quieter that way. Was worn as either outer layer during early morning hike in, or mid layer under rain jacket when the sleet started falling at 12,000”. Very impressive piece. If it got colder then we throw on a puffy.

As stated above, more details on application would be helpful, but by "warm" I'm assuming you need something that can work below 50 degrees (at minimum). What I wear when I'm hoofing it and covering ground is much different than when I'm doing anything other than hiking. When it gets into 40s and below or way below - my favorite all around is the Sitka Jetstream

Sorry for the late response. I will be on an elk hunt late november in nevada. I'm thinking it will be in the 20's during the hunt

Love the Peloton , one of my favorite pieces . Blocks wind great and love the form fitting hood, easy to glass while having the hood on

I like my Cabela's Berber Fleece with the windblocker liner in it. Warm and quiet for hunting. Good stuff, until BPS screws that up too. So far, I think they're still available though.

I would go with a Sitka Jetstream as well.
Size up though. If you normally wear a large- go XL. The sizing on the Jetstream is kind of goofy. As far as softshells go- it is great. SHeds moisture to a degree, and is awesome at blocking wind. The pit zips work super well.

I am a long time fan of soft shells for light windproof insulation. Used north face and arcteryx as a hiking jacket for years. I tried a few hunting brands as well.

Big fan of the sitka jetstream. One of my favorite and most used pieces. From 30s to windy 60s including up To a fairly decent rain. If I had a gripe it would be that it is on the heavy/bulky side when not worn. If Sitka put a hood on the mountain jacket (windproof but not insulated) it could be my new go to but it would have to be paired with a fleece or puffy for warmth.

I had a first lite northbranch but it was not as windproof as I would have liked and lacked a hood. Just picked up a catalyst to see if the wind proofing is better.

I have a kuiu guide jacket. Sizing was a bit wonky and fit is odd. I still use it sometimes but it’s my least favorite of the three brands.

Wear an old pair of cycling tights underneath and you will be amazed how warm the body feels, i work outside and when the temperature drops the old Cannondale thin tights with loads of holes now come out.
