I'm looking for a Western Mountaineering bag in the 0 to 20 degree range with a gore lining.

I'm looking for a Western Mountaineering bag in the 0 to 20 degree range with a gore lining.

WM and Feathered Friends used to offer Goretex shells on bags. They stopped many years ago. WM now offers a Gore Windstopper shell, which really isn't waterproof like a Gore bivy, just water "resistant". I'd spend the money on a bivy bag. JMO. YMMV.

I guess it was the gore bags I was looking for. I currently have a Marmot bag with some sort of water resistent outer and I was a little concerned after getting it a little wet this past hunting season. I didn't get cold but if I'm spending a week in the wet in Alaska and I'm not sure if it would be wise with a down bag without a water resistent outer! Last trip I used my bag inside a quality bivy under my Hilleberg fly and it worked pretty well but I'd like to shed the bulk, weight, and relatively poor ventilation of the bivy.
