I'm debating on 6 Dasher or GT for a couple of barrels. One in a Tikka that will use Tikka mags, one in a Kimber 84M. I'd like to evaluate how well they feed before ordering a reamer. Does anyone have some toasted/cracked 6 Dasher or GT brass they'd be willing to send me? I'll happily pay postage. 3-5 of each would be adequate.

Thanks!

6 Dasher is short - most run in specially modified AICS type mags to feed reliably. Arguably, 6GT is specifically designed to be just longer than Dasher such that it will run in a "308 family" mag.

That's all true of AICS magazines. I'd probably lean towards AICS Dasher magazines if either of these guns used AICS mags. But one will use Tikka mags and one will use Kimber Hunter magazines for now. There's not much or any info on whether a Dasher will feed from those magazines.

Personal opinion - I run Dasher in PRS - I do not think Dasher will feed reliably UNLESS it is in a modified AICS/AW mag. I am building a 22GT in a Tikka T3 currently - I plan to use a Tikka CTR 308 mag with the 22GT. I would use a GT in a Tikka with Tikka factory mags - I would not use a Dasher. Again, GT was designed to be just enough longer than Dasher to work reliably in 308 mags
