WTB Wanted: 243/similar bolt action for youth rifle donation.

**note - I am looking to buy a rifle. Thread title might make it sound like im looking for a donation.

I’m looking to buy a budget bolt action in a kid friendly cal. This gun is going to be donated by me to a youth hunter (their parents) who can use it on a hunt this fall.

If you have something taking up space in your safe, please consider selling. Something like a:

Ruger American
Marlin XS7
Tikka T3

Obviously Tikka might be priced out now that it’s no longer seen as a budget rifle, but yeah. I wouldn’t turn down a well priced T3.

My gut says no. Im sure some do, but a 270 can pop pretty good.
