Wallop VS Authority. What’s the difference?

I think y'all are overlooking how my a magnum belt and walnut stock impact both.

If bullet weight and velocity are the same, a 300 magnum will have more wollop than a little ole 06

And if you fire it out of a walnut stocked rifle, it has more authority.

All a sliding scale, graded on a curve.

Authority is when Spomer speaks to educate the common hunter.
Wallop is when Spomer's big bore magnum hits his quarry, like a Jackalope for example.

In an effort to be inclusive and open to "other ways of knowing", we should be honest about the language being used and how it is hurtful:
"Authority" implies a patriarchal "power over" dynamic that is hurtful to those not so empowered.
"Wallop" implies violence and as we know all violence is bad.
Therefore, it should be amended to the following inclusive language: Authority is now "Bumfuzzle" and Wallop is "Sparkleshine".

In a sentence (as used by a 20 year old currently)- "Hey Brah. Your pew-pew has some serious bumfuzzle and it sure hugs those deer with some sparkleshine downrange."

There. Now we can all get along.

I would love if some writer started penning articles about .243 or .25 bore calibers and talked about how the round hits with “authority” or the “wallop” it packs it would scramble a lot of fuddlore out the gate

If Ty Freel said he dropped a blacktail spike with a 243 this is what 90% of the comments would sound like
