I have a 14 x 16 wall tend but want to get a smaller one when it is just me an my son. Thinking of 10x12.

Can I use my angles from my bigger ten t in the smaller one. It seems that the roof pitch would be the same between the two

All depends on angle of pitch, some tent manufactures use different angles, I would call manufacture and find out angles of the two your trying to make work, see if there the same

It will depend on the width and height of the tent. You could always use math to calculate it out but you will need tent measurements. Width at base, sidewall height, and total height at peak. Create yourself a scale endwall drawing and then measure your angles. The angle will vary, most wall tents I have been in all have had a 9' peak but they have been of varying widths, 10' on up to 16' wide. The peak angle gets larger and the sidewall angle gets smaller as the tents width increases.
