For those of you with walk-in safes, I'm looking at a new home that has an area for a safe room but it is only 32" wide but 10' deep. Is this too narrow for walk-in safe?

that's pretty narrow, at least to take full advantage of the depth. i guess if you put all your rifles against just one side, and a shelf running along that side on the top for handguns, you could shimmy all the way in and out.

Way too narrow for walk in. The only way you could do something with it is have everything on one side wall... Or use it for ammo/cash/expensive hunting gear etc.

I know that is narrow but it will depend on how many you have to put in it. the end will allow you to use a u shape for many. I would not let it go to waste.

Man that's going to take some creative solutions to make it work comfortably. I'd guesstimate that is the equivalent of a standard 6x6x30 double door safe.
If it was my space, I'd make 30" steel pivoting wall racks floor to ceiling with long guns stored vertically on each one. Similar a series of large doors with a single hinge pin top and bottom. Swing out each rack as needed instead of trying to line the entire wall horizontally. Space provided, line the opposite wall with similar swinging racks for ammo, mags, etc. This should leave you with 24" unobstructed down the center.
Good luck.
