How long did Ruger take to get your exchanged factory scope rings back to you guys? Knowing what to expect won't change anything for me, especially having already mailed mine in, but it'll make the waiting to shoot my new rifle easier.

Was there a recalll? What kind of rings? I'd probably just order a new set of rings. I cant imagine whatever they give you out of the box is a quality ring.

While you wait, pull the rail, degrease the screw holes. Remount with proper torque and locktite. Mine was loose.

Just exchanging for size. Ruger will replace the rings that come with a rifle for free. In my case I'm exchanging the 1" for 30mm.

But what brand are the rings? What is the use for the rifle? What cartridge?

I’m going to guess he’s referring to the 77/Hawkeye rifles that come with rings from the factory.

I hope they are doing a better job now. I assumed he meant American, but my 77 with rings was so misaligned it was binding the scope adjustment. Two different rings tried, then I spent hours with a lapping tool and saw how far off the bases were.
