Wait till after the SHOT Show?

I've been researching for my first suppressor to put on my 7mmRM and am down to several finalists. Immediately after that, I'll be upgrading the scope. While I could purchase these now, I'm not going to be using either very seriously until springtime.

So... am I better off waiting until after the SHOT Show to see what new products there might be? I've never paid attention to the industry rhythms, but with these big purchases on my mind, I wanted to reach out for input.

Yes, there will always be something better around the corner, I get that. But it won't hurt me to wait another 3 months or so.

A lot of times even if it’s announced at SHOT availability isn’t right away.

I think there are a bunch of great suppressors currently on the market. Anything that is the latest and greatest coming out in SHOT is likely not going to be anything earthshattering or game changing.

I ordered a Shot show intro item last year. Order fulfilled in August.
The advertised ATF wait times are short, but I wouldn't bank on that.

Shot show items seem to be available late in the year at best. With atf wait times, I'd get what you want now. Hopefully you will have it by next hunting season.

I'd get the suppressor now, especially if you can get a black Friday deal. No hurt in waiting a bit for a scope.
