I drew my first choice / home unit. Huckleberry. This will be my 4th season looking for a certain one eyed scarred up boar that lives nearby, but it will be my first year hunting him during spring season. Wish me luck, this may be one eyed willys last year.

I drew Monroe! This is my 2nd time, last time I drew several years ago and my transmission went out on my truck and I couldn't get up there other than a couple of days. This year my buddy and I drew as a group so hopefully I'll have photos for you all.

Not Selected for the Dayton. 3 points for me. 2nd year in a row with no selection for West Blue Mountains in Oregon.. Hope the snow didn't/doesn't screw stuff up for you SE Wa guys.. Good luck! Nothing like Spring bear hunting to cure "cabin fever" after a long wet winter.. Thank god for Steelhead and Salmon! :)

Good luck to the guys that drew. If someone drew Skagit and doesn't know the unit I can probably give you a couple places to start looking.

Heading out with my boy tomorrow for the bear river unit. We will be camping for the night, then boots in the woods. This is his first bear hunt and he's the lucky tag holder. He was all packed 2 days ago! I don't think he's sleeping for the next 2 nights. Good times! Good luck on your hunts everybody.
