VTM 34

I had a carbon before I got the vtm, and I want to go back to carbon, but the RX8, even though a smoother draw (truely did feel like drawing 70 when set at 80), gave up too much speed and i couldnt shoot the distance that i like to. The new rx9 U. draws more like the vtm 34, and the speed is on point. Too much info, I'm sure, but that is why

makes sense, I’m usually saddle hunting for whitetail in northern michigan but i’m moving more to elk out west and wanted to make sure the bow could do it. Stable as hell i’ll say that

Bought a new old stock in September. Had 2 Axius Ultras and was looking for an Alpha X 33. Shot both and couldn’t find much difference. I did like the idea of 1/4” draw adjustments, but for the extra money, I went home with the VTM. Got it setup one morning and the thing is awesome.
Ended up shooting both my illinois deer with it this fall. Looking for another one for a backup.IMG_9694.jpegIMG_9723.jpegIMG_9751.jpeg

i’ve been slowly dropping weight a bit on mine to get it to a sweet spot, was running the first gen dialed sight and swapped it for a 5 pin fixed, that made a night and day difference

Yea, I found I didn’t need a stabilizer/bar set up on it so that definitely saved some. It’s not crazy though, still lighter than 95% of the rifles guys carry around. All those shots were 60+ so the extra stability was appreciated.
