I run the lr scope on all my rifles. It has plenty of travel to get you well beyond 600 yards. One additional feature this has is half moa vertical adjustments. This basically allows you to dial in half as many clicks as it would take quarter moa. I don't think you can find a better scope for the money.

I have this scope also. For a 200 yard sight-in I can dial to 850ish in one revolution for a factory 30-06 round. But you can dial multiple revolutions if you want to shoot farther than that.
