What's your reasoning for not accepting Paypal G&S? No offense/disrespect, but posting an item for a great price but not accepting G&S is a pretty big red flag for most people.
Can you provide a picture of the item with a written timestamp & username, or something similar to help ease buyer concerns?
Thanks for the response, sounds reasonable enough! I'll send another PM requesting a timestamp - if all looks good on that front I'll still take it.My reason for not using “Goods and Services” is that PayPal does not support transactions involving firearms, and they may eventually ask for details about the sale. The scope originally cost $300 new, I’m not trying to squeeze every last dollar out of it. I might get an extra $50 if I wait a couple of weeks, but that’s not a priority.
I’m happy to do a video call, provide a timestamped photo, or anything else you prefer for verification. I also don’t want any funds placed on hold. if the payment is held, the scope will be held as well.
About the “red flag” thing for not accepting G&S, that’s not how I see it. Honestly, I don’t get why anyone would want to use a payment method that could get their account flagged or even banned. You might not put a note in the payment now, but I can’t trust that a buyer won’t mention what it was for later if PayPal asks.
All payment options are available except PayPal G&S. If that doesn’t work for you guys, no hard feelings, just move on and keep any questions in DMs instead of posting them here. I’ll be crossposting this once I get home, and it will sell.
