Vortex SSP Tripod Arca Adapter Recommendations

Probably a stupid question for those in the know but I’m fairly new to tripod use. I have an older vortex ssp tripod I picked up. It has the vortex quick disconnect on the pan head. It came with one screw on adapter to convert arca to the narrower vortex quick release. The screw loosens on my scope though and is just jankitty. I want to glass of the tripod with my binos which I have a tricer bc adapter for and am purchasing a vortex 14-39 scope. Question is there a better conversion system to use than this screw on model so that I can easily lock on my arca scope and binos to the pan head?

I went down a similar path. Instead of finding an adapter plate for the vortex pan head, I eventually just swapped the pan head to one that has an arca connection.

There’s a thread somewhere on here about how to swap the head and another with reasonably priced pan heads. Use the search feature and you should be able to find it.

Thanks for the reply. I got this one for a pretty cheap price and it’s a little worn regarding the leg extensions. I wouldn’t want to put money into a head on it unless I was buying a head for a future better tripod. Might just be stuck with the screw on be for now.
