Vortex Ridgeview tripod w/ Sirui va-5x head?

Hey all, this is my first post here. I've got a Vortex Razor 27-60x85 spotter and a Ridgeview Carbon tripod on order. My existing rig is a 15-45x65 Vortex Viper Spotter on a high country 2 aluminum tripod. It looks to me like the Ridgeview tripod has the exact same pan head on it as the high country, which while it works, I don't love. And I'm not sure I would love it with an even bigger spotter.

I ordered a Sirui VA-5X head and a 3/8-1/4 adapter bushing. If anybody else out there has put an aftermarket tripod head on a Vortex Ridgeview (or similar) tripod...am I good with what I have on order or will I need additional stuff? I'm fairly certain the Sirui comes with an arca-swiss plate.

Got it figured out. Put some blue loctite on the reducer bushing and on the plate screw.
