I realize this is an old thread, but eurooptic has the 18x56 UHD on sale right now for 1300 bucks?
I’ve thought about trying a Vortex UHD for a while, and I don’t have a set of ‘big eyes’ in my quiver-very tempting.

I took advantage of their sale, plus they had another 12% off for a window of time for some other promotion. I've had them about a month and a half, and I've got to say that I am very pleased with them. I've got the Kaibabs, and while those served me well, I can see the improvement the UHDs provide over the Kaibabs. With the Kaibab, I have an easier time adjusting the IPD to get a full picture, as the UHDs do seem a little more finicky for my face and eyes, but once I get that adjusted, everything else is better. Clarity, low light performance, etc. It took me a long time to pull the trigger on these (been eyeballing them since they came out), and my only regret is that I didn't get them sooner. One last note....I'm not a vortex fan, but I will vouch for these!

Well, I finally succumbed. Bought the UHD 18x56 for 1170 bucks. My first ‘big-eye’ optic and my first Vortex product. I’ve always been a Zeiss and Swarovski fan-we shall see!
