The view isn’t even comparable. I was never a fan of the regular Razor HD. The Razor UHD are comparable to anything made today.

Agree with above. Looked through 12x and 18x and also through Meostar HD and ELs (although didn’t compare directly). These are solid.

Yes they are pretty solid binos. It’s a big jump from the razor HD’s.

That is about what Vortex has to say, but they and you, don’t really explain why. I like to know why something is better, not just “it’s much better!” Before the UHD, vortex claimed the Razor HD was comparable to any glass out there.

That said, the other 2 endorsements above are a pretty good recommendationS, but again “it’s just better” doesn’t explain why . The most obvious thing about them outwardly is that they are 7.4 OZ heavier. That is somewhat significant and anything over 30 oz is noticeable to me. Guess that is why they invented the chest harnesses?

If nothing else this gets you plenty of exposure!

I compared them to about a dozen others here (only in 12x format). Also had some data on the 18x. Maybe that’s a tad bit less subjective.

Yeah. Problem is price. Like many, I can get vortex cheapest. I found some HGs listed for $799 new with a 10% discount but they were out of stock. If I can snag HGs at $720 that may be enough to push me over. I do like them a lot. The resolution on IMO was close to the razor. Zeiss had them...

I think what makes any bino better than others is the quality of glass that makes them more clear and brighter? I’m not sure what answer you are looking for. Haha! I’ve had and used vortex razors, vortex kaibabs, and currently have the swaro 12x50 EL’s. I would say the quality is much better than the razors hd’s but not quite as clear and bright as the Swaro EL’s. So I still would that they are much better than the razor hd’s.
