Not quite as cheap as last year's Sportsman's Warehouse sale but this place normally has an excellent customer satisfaction return policy with free return shipping within 90 days if you aren't 100% happy with it.

Not sure if this one is made in China or assembled in the USA with Chinese or Japanese parts but it retails for $1999.99 and typically sells for $1599.

This is the old version and since they have updated the body quite a bit with the helical ring focus. Not sure if they have changed much of the glass? Does anyone else know?

Love my 65mm. Works with swaro 25-50 eyepiece too if you ever want to “upgrade”.

I have a wide angle eyepiece for sale for it if anyone wants one.

I have that exact one, it's good glass, but it is heavy. The new model has a wider FOV, and it's 27-60. I couldn't tell much difference in glass when I looked through the newer one.

I do want to let mine go for a lighter model if anyone wants a smoking deal.

Funny you mention it being heavy. It’s half lb lighter than the new one and a tad lighter than a swaro ATS. There are a few lighter spotters out there but not many in the 65mm range (athlon and ATM that I can think of. Leupold HD 60mm is as well).

Actually why I like the Gen I better than the new. It’s same glass (IMO) and better. Plus I like the dual focus knob.

I prefer the focus knob on the older Razor. Mine is still kicking after 9 hard years of guiding, finally sent it in this year for a cleaning and checkup, it came back looking amazing. Still has the body scuffs, but it looks like they either replaced or polished all the glass.

The Midway price is ok, nothing to get too excited about.

I had a Gen 1 and it was Chinese. Good spotter for sure. Also had an Athlon Cronus that was Chinese. For some reason my eyes didn’t love the Chinese glass as it seems a certain color and I can tell it is Chinese pretty much. I did like that the Burris reticles worked in it. You can find the 30X wide angle sometimes really cheap on Amazon warehouse. Sportsman’s at $750 with 10% off was a solid deal but $900 is a little high for the optical quality to me. I also would think the Gen 2 will have better optical quality since it’s not made in China but in that price range would definitely go for something like a Tract Toric 27-55. If they ever have a refurb it will be 25% off and the optical difference to the razor is significant to my eyes. This was digiscoping the moon a few nights ago. No blue around the edges. I thought the razor was going to be perfect but it was truly worth stepping up and finding a used Toric as the overall price difference was minimal but overall quality is much better to my eyes and impresses me continuously.

I guess I should have clarified, just wanted a smaller model all around. I don't need the 60x or 85mm for most of my hunting. I really need a 15-45ish. It is good glass, and that's why I still keep it. Just seems to be worth more to me than what I seem to get on the used market.
