Vortex Razor LHT 4.5-22

Just bought a 6.5 prc roughteck tikka t3x rifle. It weights 7.1 lbs. I am looking for a hunting scope out to 500 yards. I am looking at the Vortex Razor LHT 4.5x22 x 50 because it weighs in at 21 oz's and is in my price range. I want my new setup to be in the low 9 lbs max. because I will be carrying it up to 10 miles a day.
I like the razor's glass over the viper.
What do you think?

I dropped my hunting rifle with a Razor LHT 4.5-22 off a tripod and it landed on a rock. It was about 3 feet high.

Any guesses to how bad the zero shifted?

I will check zero tonight after I get out of the woods and report back.

I have one and it got dropped a few times this year but zero stayed perfect. Son shot his buck at 586 with it. I'm happy with it.

Rio – sounds like a solid option. At out to 500yr in a hunting scenario, you will not be disappointed. And that is a great weight option for the back country! I have zero brand loyalty and change things up all the time. Have owned vortex stuff in the razor and other configs. Still have a couple of the razor configs and have one in an LHT. Keep us posted on what you end up with. It’s a learning process for all of us.
