Working to shed some oz off my rifle. I've been using a Mark 5 5-25 for the past few years and absolutely love it. But it's big and bulky. And it's MOA. But I know it's about 30oz which for its class isn't bad.

But if I can drop a few OZ and not give up anything for performance and switch to mils why not?

Not a huge vortex fan but the Razor LHT fits the bill. I like higher magnification because I can always back it down to actually shoot.

Ha my two Arken EPL4's are like 24oz and I'm half tempted to buy a third

Also looking at the March tacticals that run about $2600.

Wanting to stay close to that 2-2500 price.

FFP is a must.

Figure I'd look into this before just getting a demo'ed NX8 4-32.

Trijicon Tenmile 3-18x44 sounds like what you are looking for, and it will hold zero. If you can stomach a 15x ceiling, the Maven RS1.2 is my pick.

A 1” microcell recoil pad will save you about 4-5 ounces compared to a sorbothane pad (ie kickeeze or decelerator). Costs $25. Then you can use a 30oz scope and drop the same weight off the rifle without spending hardly a dime.

But if you want a new scope done let me stop you!
