Anyone have any experience with this Tripod and head?

Has great reviews on Amazon and doesn’t break the bank...?

How would this compare to the pro master combo cameraland is offering for double the the price?

I have one. it is big and heavy, definitely not the best for a tough pack hunt. But it is stable and extends high. Just fine for road hunting. As for the head, it's ok. It works and is pretty smooth but it is not a true locking panhead. I got an outdoorsmans panhead a couple years ago and the difference is noticeable but it is much more expensive. If you want a small lightweight tripod the slick 624 is great. You can't glass while standing but I usually never glass for extended periods of time standing anyway. Probably isn't quite as stable as the vortex pro gt due to the weight difference but it just depends what you're looking for.

I don't have a lot to compare it to but I really have been enjoying mine. I have had it for 3 years, And have taken it everywhere from the high country to the desert flats. I have used 10x50 razors and a 20-60x80 mm Razor Gen 1 Spotter. The tripod has done really well. Its been fairly low maintenance. It is heavy but if you are running bigger glass on it it stays steady in some pretty strong wind. Its definitely not the best tripod but if you are on a budget and want a sturdy tripod this its a really good option.
