It’s garbage I think the 50$ Simmons one from dicks is better, pay a little more and go with a leupold

Lowest end piece in my optics kit for sure. No real need for me to upgrade yet since it's held up fine in the field.
I don't need to range past 300 for rifle hunting and any rangefinder with angle compensation will work for bow hunting distances so it's not a huge deal.

The rangefinder is really iffy past 300 yards, as in you'll rarely get a reading over 300 unless you're insanely steady handed or pointing at a man made object with no obstructions. I think the farthest reading I've gotten in the field was in the mid 400's.

If I had a do over I'd look at a used rangefinder in the $200-350 range, seems like a lot of good deals to be had there.
