This is a fantastic tripod, but I haven’t really used the extra length for standing while glassing, so want to get something a bit smaller. Only used twice and in great shape with no damage. Put stealth strips on the legs to make sure it doesn’t clank when you fold it up. The pan head has a nice tension adjust feature built into the handle.
