Friday night I took my girls out on an overnighter in my Trackers. First hike in them. About five or six miles. No blisters but I could definitely feel my feet were sore Sunday morning.
I also noticed I had a little bit of slop in the shoe. My normal boot size is an 11 wide.
So I threw my sheep feet in there to take up some of the slop and add just a little more protection from the pointy rocks.
Hiked five and a half miles Sunday then six Monday morning.
After which I had blisters on both of my toes next to my big toe from the toes rubbing each other. Also one on my left heel.

So the main question is how supposed to fit with the factory insole? I had a solid thumb width from my big toe to the end of the toe box. Should it be less? Im afraid of if I drop to a 10 then my little toes will rub.

Should I order a size 10 to demo then use their 100 day trial?

I'm guessing the orthotics were a bad idea. Maybe?

As far as the hiking went I usually have sore knees afterwards. Not this time. I could also hike faster it seemed. Well not with three daughters in tow
