Vivo forest tracker esc durability

FYI there are several sizes of the Tracker ESC on sale at EBay for $159.

Be wary of cheap Vivos ... Vivo Barefoot used to (still may do) have an entire webpage devoted to sites that sell fakes ...

I ordered a pair so we shall see if they are legit? Not sure how to tell though?

I did find an entire bogus Vivo website, think it was Vivo barefootco.com?

Had everything in stock super cheap and only took apps for payment no CC.

I'm interested in any experience with the Tracker vs the Forest Esc as well. The rand and current pricing on the Tracker are attractive, but the sole on the Forest Esc looks much better. Wish they'd put the Forest Esc sole on the Tracker.
I would prefer the trackers if the soles held up they handle water much better with the rand but.... the sole is awful I've tore out the soles on three pair with minimal use. Rocks tend to chew the sole up until it rips open. The winter version of the trackers has a different rubber on the sole and has held up very well. I just wish they used that sole on the non insulated version.

On my 3rd pair of Forest Tracker ESCs in 4.5yrs. Forgot how deep the lugs are on a new pair. Last pair was worn for ~2.5-3yrs

3 pairs in 4.5 years? Why would this be considered an acceptable level of durability for a boot? A trail runner makes sense but for a boot this shouldn’t be okay unless they have a Vortex warranty.

How long they last wouldn’t be as big a deal if they were cheap! At 270 I’d expect some durability!

This would be my third spring on my Magna forest, they are beat to hell but still function as normal, tread wear is beginning to be an issue! Non ESC version, they’re my favorite pair of shoes/boots I’ve ever owned and have some serious miles on them!

I have the trackers with the rand. Thin sole, stepped on some rocks and damn near toppled over it was like stepping on lego barefoot..... lol but for real the odd rock seems to get a direct hit on my foot and jolts me.

How are the jungles? That price is tempting....

The first 2 pairs lasted 4.5yrs. Have only been wearing the 3rd for a few weeks now.

I personally think a pair of boots that gets worn nearly every day and last ~2yrs is fine
