Interested to see if anyone has had any waterproofing and wearing (wear and tear) issues with the Tracker ESC’s. I love the way they fit and want to use them for the upcoming archery Elk season BUT I am concerned about the wear and tear on the toe (since no kick plate) and the waterproofing.

The FG2 is fully waterproof and can take a beating but just doesn’t fit like the ESC.

I’m a huge fan of all my Vivo shoes, I know this doesn’t answer your question but how do you like using those instead of regular hiking boots?

The leather ESCs will be fine from a durability standpoint.

I love them dude. I won't go back to a traditional pair of hiking boots after putting miles on the ESC and FG2's. The ESC's are so much more comfortable and breathable than the FG2's BUT the FG2's are sealed tight... not a chance they leak unless water comes over the top of the boot.

You feel so much more connected to the ground, your foot has much more room to breath, and your foot stays warm in a thick wool sock (kuiu).

Awesome, what I needed to hear!
Honestly, I have not had an issue with any of the eyelets. However, I am a huge fan of the laces. The past few years chasing Elk in the Rockies... my Lowa and Zamberlans would come untied at the worst time possible, the ESC's don't budge. Huge fan.

Awesome to hear, Im happy to hear this because I’d prefer them over a traditional hiking boot. I’ve been using Vivo for gym shoes a few years now and have always loved the quality and feel
