Hey guys, kinda new to Rokslide and loving all the info these forums give. I’m looking to get into some new glass and on a bit of a budget. I’m leaning towards the Viper 12x50. If anybody has some better options for me I’d appreciate it thanks.

I have had a pair of Viper 12x50s for a while and have been very happy with them.

I compared a bunch of 10x42 and included them in the comparison and then compared to some other more expensive 12x50s as you head down the comparison. I’ve looked through about 15 pairs in last three months and four pairs of of 12x50s.

I think they are great for the cost, but I upgraded to Meopta Meostar 12x50s. But they are 2-3 times the cost and the only major difference was edge to edge clarity. That came with a cost and 1/2lb in weight as well.

I have been debating if I want to keep my 12x50s as backups or sell. If you are interested in mine let me know and we can work a deal.
