New reloader here, looking to load some 6.5prc with N565 and 147eldm’s on the end. Any experience ranging in the 52.5-56.5gr load range? Just had some 4831sc that grouped well enough all the way up a 51.5-56.5 pressure ladder using .5gr steps, unable to chrono though so just guessing fps based on other results… any info/tips help, thanks!

58 grains with n565 and the 156elite berger is fairly standard. With a 147eldm I wouldn't hesitate start there if you are searching for pressure, or just load up a bunch and go shoot.

Load up a few a give it a go. I wouldn’t start at 58 though. It maybe fine but it may not.

N565 and 140+gr has been a bread and butter combo in mine, but I also definitely wouldn't start at 58. That's ejector swipe and sticky extraction territory with formed brass in my rifle. My tested safe charge is 56.5 with 143's.

That’s what I am worried about, we tested up to 56.5 and had very minimal pressure sign, obviously a different powder but would probably look to start in that 55.0 range and go from there

I loaded 147 ELD-M in my Seekins ph2 with ADG brass and 59g of n565. Was getting 2965 fps. No ejector marks or heavy bolt lift. They were 3/4 MOA all day every day.

I went all the way up to 59.5g without trouble. But they didn’t shoot well so I went back down to 59g.

My rifle liked the 140 TGK a bit better so that’s what I stayed with but had I not found the TGK I would have had no issues with shooting the 147 ELD-M.

My Seekins 20” barrel hit pressure during the summer at 58gr N565 and magnum primers using the 147eldm.
I backed down to 57gr. Had great accuracy and consistency.
20” barrel gave 2830fps.

Vhitavuori app has been a good reference for load data. They can be on the conservative side, but I wouldn’t hesitate to load up one of their max charges for any gun out there.
