So, for all you goat experts out there, is the goat featured in this video a billy or nanny?
What do you think?

Im no expert, but i would say definitely a nanny. Long slender horns with no 'hook' at the back.

I can't say for sure, but I am leaning towards billy. I checked ADFG's pdf on identification and here is what it said:

Female Horns:
*Thin
*Sharp curve near the tip
*Small bases
*Wide distance between bases

Male
Horns:
* Thicker throughout length
* Uniform, gradual curvature
* Larger bases
• Bases
closer together
• Enlarged glands behind bases
Group Size and Composition:
• Often solitary or groups of 2-3
Body Size and Shape:
• Stocky body
• Roman bulge to nose
• Pronounced shoulder hump
• Pronounced pantaloons
Sexual Organs:
*Sometimes organs are visible
Urination Posture:
*Stands stretching

I'm totally a rookie, so this is really hard!
I'm gonna say Billy. The horns aren't super thick, but the bases seem too big. Body looks like a Billy, but maybe she's just buff:)

Hey guys... new here. Great site! At 8:57 you see him lean forward and piss. When in doubt just wait for the goat to urinate to positively ID it. In this case it's a billy. A nanny would of squatted.

Very interesting to see the different opinions.
I asked because I was unsure.
I have gone back and forth on it.
I initially thought young billy.
Who knows!
I also thought that I was going to go billy when it got up and started to feed.
I thought that it leaned forward to pee. But, I did not actually see it pee. I thought it may just have stretched since it had just got out of its bed.
Tough to say.

A couple more from yesterday.

That was fun to watch.

Young billy. At 9:15 when he walks up the rocks, you can see the curvature of his horns.
