Victory VAP TKO GPI

I just bought a 6 pack of the victory VAP TKO's in 350 spine and cut them down and refletched them to my specs. After gluing in my Iron Will's with the snyder core i weighed the arrow. These new arrows are 17 - 19 grains lighter than my other arrows. Has anyone else come across any issues like this? My arrow is cut to 25 1/2" with 3 vane fletch. Using all iron will stuff up front. My thought was that they miss labeled the arrow and package. My Iron will collar that I would use on a 400 spine arrow would not fit the 350 spine shaft. Had to use the correct collar for a 350 spine. Just wondering if anyone else has ran into this.

Are your other arrows VAP's or VAP TKO's? VAP TKO's have a slightly higher gpi and larger OD.

Interesting. So the new arrows are lighter and have a larger OD? That seems odd...if the spine were mis-labeled I would expect them to be either heavier & larger or lighter & smaller.

They have the correct OD. At least according to my collar, they are correct. They are just lighter. It is baffling me! I even went as far as pulling out the broadhead thinking I had my head up by butt and didn't put on the insert. But it was on the broadhead when I pulled it out.

That's wild. I've seen variances from less reputable companies but not Victory.

You need to put them on a spine tester.
