Those who shoot or have experience with the newer Victory HLR shafts, why did you/do you choose it over similar shafts like the new Easton 5.0, Gold Tip Airstrike, or other?

Considering trying some new arrows. Leaning Easton 5.0 for cost/quality, but never shot Victory and curious. Currently shooting Gold Tip Airstrike 300's out of my V3X 29 at 75# & 27" DL.

As a huge fan of the RIP TKOs, I would probably switch to the HLRs if I didn't already have 3 dozen of the RIP TKOs. The carbon weave on the outside makes for quite a durable shaft, plus with the lighter GPI you can get a decent weight with good FOC.

It will be interesting to see how they compare to the Easton 5.0s for long term use.

I have heard of some issued with the 5.0's but overall they seem to be pretty good. Obviously if durability is your concern the 5.0 is gonna be a lot less durable than the HLR. I have shot eastons but just built some new VAP TKO's for myself. And I will say so far I am really liking victory arrows. If it was me I would go HLR. I'm also curious if you've thought of going 4mm route? 5mm are really nice to though.
