Vertical 3 Pin Options?

Not entirely sure why everyone is seemingly trying to talk you out of what you are wanting to do. I have hunted with various three pin vertical and horizontal sights for years. I have always set my pins at 20, 30, and 40 yards - simply because this is easiest for my brain to remember in the heat of the moment. I am sure if you go with the Pruf, you’ll get used to whatever the pins end up sighting in at.

However, to answer your original question, I would also strongly give the Boonie from Spot Hogg a consideration. Their three pin vertical is what I am currently shooting and have been impressed. I like the fact that I can individually adjust all three pins and am not at the mercy of whatever the middle and bottom pin end up sighting in at.

That’s what I kept thinking. Like I asked for vertical 3 pin options and then they get mad when I say no to anything else. And that’s kinda my thought to. For one you never shoot animals at perfect numbers. So as long as you know what your pins are at and you know your gaps. Effectively it does the same exact thing as setting your pins to 20 30 40 for example. I like the boonie frame. The housing is what I don’t like about their vertical 3 pin so that kept me away. I just custom ordered my PRUF so I’m excited to get my hands on it.

Check back after you’ve shot it for a while and give an update. The horizontal Pric was on my radar before I picked up the Boonie. Again, only because I like the ability to adjust each pin individually. Will be curious to hear how you like it.
