Varitech Stock on X-Bolt

Does anyone know if you can drop a standard X-bolt into a Varitech stock that comes with X-Bolt 2’s? Assuming same barrel contour and action size.

I did talk with a person in parts today. He was told that the Vari-Tech stocks will not work on Xbolt standard versions. Although he didn't have the engineering response to say why. Mentioned internal bolt dimensions but I pointed out to him that it's really the outer action dimensions that would count first. Told him the floor metal holes are the same dimension. Of course he didn't have a response. He did say that the Ovid stock runs around $500 as a separate accessory for those of you interested in this.

Dang! I was expecting much cheaper. The old ones were in the $200’s I think. Waiting on them to post the parts list their website say are coming…
