Anybody done it?

It says on their website they are designed to work with VAPs but I have adjusted it every way I see possible and the best I can do is get 4 out of 5 tight. I've turned the plastic blocks both ways, alternated them etc. etc. If I go any tighter the top is closed too tight to fit an arrow through...

Is it possible the rubber is stretched from having standard diameter arrows in it for a year?

Am I missing something that's really obvious?

Sincerely,

Frustrated in Idaho haha

My Tight Spot was new when I used it with VAPs and I had the same problem. So yours isn't a stretching issue. Tried everything and never found a way to use all the slots. Can't get them all to the same tension either, due to having to adapt it to VAPs. Nice quiver, but for the money I kind of regretted buying it because my prior Mathews quiver worked great.

Not what I wanted to hear, I might have a dozen brand new VAPs for sale...

Mine fit super tight. Are you pushing them all the way in? Not into the first slot, but the deepest part of the arrow slot? I had to loosen my screws up, actually.

Mine for just fine with no adjustment. Make sure you are pushing them all the way in as blackcow said. You may have to loosen them.

My VAP arrows worked great for over a year. I temporarily (one week) tried GT big game 100's & now have the same problem. Definitely stretched the arrow holders out. Mine won't hold any small diameter arrows now (at least not VAPs or injexions).

I tightened the rubber "shoes" down as much as possible then wedged toothpicks on the outside of rubbers "shoes" as well and just snipped them where needed. Made VAPS fit snug as a bug in my Tightspot. Hope that made sense.

My VAP's worked great in it until I put Bloodlines in it. I'm sure it stretched. I was Hopi g to order a new gripper for it.

I think I might have it working. I didn't see that the screws could thread all the way through, took a little torquing to get them but I think it's good.

You guys that are having no issues, do you have just the one plastic block turned sideways then the rest tightened all the way?

Like this?

I turned the 1st block 90 degrees and the rest just started tightening. I run the Injexions and haver had issues and my tight spot is a 2010 model

I have ran different size arrows in each slot when trying out arrows side by side and wasting old used arrows chasing prarie dogs and such. Ive never had an arrow i couldnt get to stay snug.....

I emailed Tight Spot to see if I was doing anything wrong...they are sending out a new rubber piece, no questions asked.

Great service!
