I had been looking at these the vortex talons, zen ray ed3's, and Zeiss terras. Right now with them on sale the price is really good and then vanguard has a $50 mail in rebate, with the sale and rebate they are close to half off. I just haven't had a chance or anywhere to check them out in person before pulling the trigger.

Bought a pair of the 10.5x45 Endeavors for my daughter, and am very impressed with the quality and clarity, my son likes them better than his Leupold Pinnacles. Purchased them on ebay, from a pawn shop in Reno, and they were literally brand new, all original packaging and warranty card, paid $200 if I remember correctly.

I bought 10x42 for my mom. My first impression was good especially for the $250 price. Now she's had them for more than a year and I just saw them. I didn't spend a lot of time behind them on last weeks trip, but the eye ups weren't holding position. The durability seemed to be lacking, they just didn't feels as good as new. Maybe my mom doesn't take the best care, maybe she needs to send them in for service to test out the warranty service. I'm going to get her a lens pen and some cleaning tips, maybe that will help.

The case, lens, and objective covers were poor quality. I'm comfortable recommending the optical performance, but not the durability and quality of accessories.

I've got the 10x42 and I like them. $213 for "used" right now on Amazon. I bought mine from the Amazon warehouse and they were brand new in the box. You can get them under $200 regularly on there, if you're patient. Just got the HD 65mm spotter for $340. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

Has anybody had Vanguard ED binos side by side to vortex and how did they compare? Cabelas has Vanguard Spirit ED 10x50's for only $150.00 and I was curious if anybody had any experience with them. I have a Vanguard Endeavor HD spotter that I really like.
