Vanguard BA-185

Has anyone used the bino tripod adapter from Vanguard, BA-185 I believe it is? I want to get a simple and sturdy set up for my Vanguard Endeavor EDs. I have a Manfroto tripod with a basic head. I'm unsure if there is anything about my binos or tripod I need to make sure are compatable for the adapter to work, or is it all universal for standard binos/tripod?

Looking at the specs for this adapter on some other websites, it looks like it has a standard 1/4"-20 threaded socket, so it should fit any typical tripod. I've also sent you a PM.

I have this bino tripod adapter. It works well but I would like to try the VORTEX UNI-DAPTOR TRIPOD ADAPTER.
